Wellspring - For Mental Health Recovery
Welcome to Wellspring, we provide housing and psychiatric rehabilitative services
to those facing the challenges of mental illness,
serving more than 600 adults each year.
Your gifts open new worlds for hundreds of folks at Wellspring.
You bring peace; you make choices possible.
And you make having a home a reality for so many.
For all of that, we thank you.
And we ask you to continue to do all that you can. Lives depend on it.
Wellspring promotes mental health recovery for adults with severe and persistent mental illness by providing quality housing and rehabilitative services for nearly 600 clients annually. As a private, non-profit agency, Wellspring operates two Crisis Stabilization services and several Supported Housing programs in addition to affordable housing options throughout Jefferson County and a Shelby County site. For many years, Wellspring was the only agency in this region that provided independent housing coupled with psychiatric rehabilitative services for those challenged by mental illness. We are proud that today, we still offer the region’s most comprehensive supportive housing services for adults with severe mental illness.
The Coalition for the Homeless recently lauched a "Take a Stand" campaign to raise awareness of homelessness in Louisville. As a member, Wellspring strives to provide the tools for Mental Health recovery through housing and supportive services. See the Coalition's video below.
