Wellspring organizes several events each year to raise awareness about mental illness and to generate funds to carry out our mission of bringing house, hope, and recovery to those with severe and persistent mental illnesses in the Louisville community.
Book Sales to benefit Wellspring! Petition to Dissolve by Rebekah Cotton - A sister tells her perspective of her family's life-altering journey through a contested guardianship trial concerning her brother's independence and civil rights in the face of disability while she studies her way through law school.
All profits prior to the release party will be donated to Wellspring!!
Book Release Party on November 3rd at 5:00 p.m. at Beringer Park Pavilion in Cherokee Park.

Save the Date for an All Day Social & Shopping Event to benefit Wellspring clients! Nov. 10th, 10 AM to 6 PM at Dandelion in the Vogue Shopping Center in St. Matthews (3729 LexingtonRoad).
On September 15, 2016, 125 donors raised $25,125 in 24 hours to benefit Wellspring through Give Local Louisville! We surpassed our goal by over $5,000 – and our hope of engaging 75 donors to support us on this biggest single day of giving in our community was exceed by 66%! What a wonderful outcome for such an exciting day!
Home Goods Sale!
An afternoon of shopping fun was had by Wellspring clients on September 7, 2016 in the Ballroom at Spalding University! Clients bought household items, jewelry, decorations and accessories; took home some free clothing and enjoyed cookies and lemonade. The volunteers at the sale had a great time as well!

The Derby Preview Party
This festive event is held a week and a half before the Kentucky Derby each year on Churchill Downs' Millionaires Row. You can expect an extensive and exciting live and silent auction, a delicious meal, cocktails, and appearances from Derby celebrities. The Art of Recovery
Wellspring partners with other mental health agencies each year to host The Art of Recovery, an event designed to showcase the artwork of mental health consumers and raise awareness about mental illness in the Louisville community. For the past few years, the evening has also featured an educational component. Held during Mental Health Awareness Week (in May). In 2012 The Art of Recovery was held in August at the Speed Art Museum before it closed for extensive renovations. Learn more...
